With a host of key agriculture inputs -- including fertilisers and farm machineries -- now facing a much lower 5 per cent GST, the cost of cultivation for farmers is set to come down. The GST council has taken a big load off the farmers’ shoulder by slashing the tax on agriculture machinery whose prices have spiralled over the past few years.

Founded by Ravindra Agrawal from a small garage in Bengaluru, KisanKraft today offers over 300 models of machines across the complete crop cycle—land preparation, planting, crop management, harvesting, and post-harvest operations.

KisanKraft expanded its operations over two decades to cover a wide range of farm machinery. Its portfolio grew to more than 300 models addressing different stages of the crop cycle, including land preparation, sowing, crop care, harvesting, and post-harvest handling. The company reported that its machinery had been used by over 50 lakh farmers across India.

बेंगलुरु स्थित कृषि उपकरण निर्माता किसानक्राफ्ट लिमिटेड (KisanKraft Ltd.) ने आने वाले पांच वर्षों में अपने उत्पादों का निर्यात बढ़ाकर 50 देशों तक पहुंचाने की योजना बनाई है। वर्तमान में कंपनी श्रीलंका, नेपाल, बांग्लादेश, फिलीपींस, आइवरी कोस्ट और घाना जैसे लगभग 10 देशों में इंटर-कल्टीवेटर और ब्रश कटर सहित कई उपकरणों का निर्यात कर रही है।

The company currently exports farm equipment such as inter-cultivators and brush cutters among others to about 10 countries including , Nepal, Bangladesh, Philippines, Ivory Coast and Ghana.

KisanKraft, an ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturer, wholesale importer & distributor of high-quality agricultural equipment, conducted an Aerobic Rice demonstration for 150 farmers in Deshani Village. The demonstration was conducted by Dr. H. E. Shashidhar, Director of Research, KisanKraft, who until recently, was a Professor at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, to educate farmers on the cultivation of Aerobic Rice.

KisanKraft, a Bengaluru-based agri-equipment company for small farmers, has received an order worth Rs. 20 Crores from Nepal for 5,000 intercultivators which will be manufactured in India at its recently commissioned 46-acre Nellore campus. The 15-year old company is planning aggressive export revenues for 2022, targeting SAARC, Asia, and Africa countries. KisanKraft currently has a manufacturing capacity of 75,000 units of inter-cultivators per annum at its Nellore plant.

Agri equipment manufacturer KisanKraft on Wednesday said it has set up a 46-acre factory campus at Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, to manufacture self-propelled inter-cultivators. The 46-acre campus also includes R&D plots for the testing and development of new machines. The company has invested about Rs 75 crore in setting up the facility so far which will have a capacity to manufacture around 75,000 pieces of inter-cultivators per year.

Having the distinction of serving more than 50 lakh small farmers through mechanization, KisanKraft has created a one-of-a-kind app, with a special service to facilitate farmer-to-farmer farm equipment rentals. Such equipment rental income helps supplement farmer incomes significantly, KisanKraft Promoter Managing Director Ravindra K Agrawal said.

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], Feb 26 (ANI): KisanKraft Ltd, manufacturer and wholesale distributor of high-quality agricultural equipment for small and marginal farmers, on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Andhra Pradesh for a Rs. 75 crore multi-faceted project focused on agriculture technology.
